Second Grade into Semi Finals, Fourth Grade Bow Out
Date of Event Scarborough Cricket Club: Sun Mar 14, 2021 8:36PM

SCC 2nd grade were decisive winners against Fremantle in their Elimination Final which concluded at Abbett Park today.

Batting first, and on the back of great batting from Brendan McPhee, 79, Ricardo de Nobrega, 68 and Sean O'Callaghan 70, The Gulls posted 299 all out, which would be a task too great for Fremantle who could only manage 69 against a formidable SCC attack lead by George Pullinger 3 for 22 and Lochie White 2 for 19. All other bowlers used took one wicket each, so a good all round Team performance.

Details of the semi-final will be announced soon.

Play well in the semi guys.

Unfortunately our 4th Grade side were well beaten by a very good Willetton side. Being sent in, our guys could only manage 55 which was easily passed by the Willetton with only 1 wicket down. Whilst this result was disappointing, the 4's can be proud to have made the finals considering the significant amount of changes to the side each and every week with 37 players playing in the team at some stage this season.
