Former Australian and Scarborough cricketer Graeme "Beatle" Watson has died in NSW aged 75. When not playing for Australia or WA, Graeme played with Scarborough during his 3 seasons in Perth from 1971 to 1975. A superb athlete, Graeme not only opened the batting but opened the bowling as well, was a brilliant gully field and also played 18 leagues games for Melbourne in the VFL. For those lucky enough to have been around to have seen Graeme play and train at Abbett, we were rewarded by seeing a very special talent.
SCC passes our condolences to his family.
