Date of Event : Mon Nov 27, 2017 3:02PM

Scarborough lost the toss and were put into bowl/field by Joondalup.

A fantastic effort in the field by the whole team restricting Joondalup to 83 all out in the 50th over on a flat wicket.

All the bowlers performed so well strangling the oppositions run rate to just 1.66 an over.

Particular recognition goes to Riley Wills for taking 4 wickets from 10 over's with 3 maidens for 14 runs.

Also  great wicket keeping from PJ Rose with two lightning quick stumpings and 1 bye off 50 overs, to cap off a polished team performance.

George Pullinger (152 off 144 balls, 23 x 4's) and Josh Woolfe (62 off 119 balls, 4 x 4's) opened the batting for SCC and put on an outrageous 211 for the first wicket.

This is the highest opening partnership and individual score for an U14's team since records were registered on My Cricket from 1995.

Mitch Barron also came in at No4 and scored a quick fire 30 off just 15 balls. SCC finished 2 for 275 off their allotted 50 over's.

This has been a terrific start to the season for the U14's. What is particularly pleasing is the coaching of the team, ensuring the players keep themselves grounded for each game and to really focus on getting the processes right in their batting, bowling and fielding and conducting themselves in the manner expected of Scarborough Cricket Club.

Onto the next game................................
